Would you like to help your child maintain reading and math skills over the summer? GRASP, Grand Rapids Academic summer Program, is a correspondence program in reading and/or math in the grade level the student  just completed. Each child will receive a packet of materials with a booklet containing nine lessons - one lesson per week. It should take your child approximately one-hour to complete each weekly lession. Your child can complete a lesson each week or work at their own pace, as long as they submit all lessons before August 21. You will mail or return all lessons to the Community Learning Center each week or all at once where they are scored and returned to you with inspiring comments. Children in grades 4-8 have an online option. Each child who has completed all nine lessons will receive a certificate and medal for their work.
