Grades entering 7-12
- Develop muscular strength, endurance, mobility and flexibility
- Teach form and function for all athletes in both Olympic Weightlifting and Power Lifting movements.
- Apply progressive overload concept throughout the 8 weeks to challenge the body and develop strength.
- Promote the team concept; We get stronger together.
- Individualized structured programs for lifters.
Group 1: Boys Grades 9-12 8:00-9:00am
Group 2: Intro to Lifting Boys Grades 7-9 9:00-10:00
Group 3: Girls G rades 9-12 10:00-11:00
Group 4: Girls Intro to Lifting Grades 7-9 11:00-12:00
June 2th-July 25th NO CLASS JUNE 19 & 26. Make-up dates are June 18 & 25.
Cost: $60.00
Location: Austin High School Weight Room
Students will select a group to work out in for the entire summer.
Please wear athletic attire, tennis shoes and bring a water bottle.
*NEW Lifters with little or NO experience should sign up Intro to Lifting
*Middle School Athletes who have completed Intro to Lifting can sign up for Groups 1 or 3.
A maximun of 45 athletes will be allowed per group.
